Should Australia Boycott Beijing Olympics?

Yesterday protestors disrupted the Olympic torch lighting ceremony in Greece. Fueled by what they allege as human rights abuses by the Chinese government in Tibet, they're calling for a boycott of the Beijing Olympic games.
International Committee President Jaques Rogge, insists the boycott will not happen. The Dalai lama has himself, advised against it.
Ellice Mol spoke with Paul Bourke, Executive Director of the Australia Tibet Council about their stance on the boycott of the Beijing Olympics.

Bacterial Vaginosis or B.V is something that not many of us are aware of.
Characteristics of woman who had bacterial vaginosis were compared to woman who had thrush. Clinical researcher at Monash University, Cateriona Bradshaw, says that even though BV is akin to thrush, where certain conditions cause an imbalance in the vagina, studies have found it has a very different profile. It mainly results from a recent change in sexual partner however there is still no sufficient evidence to label BV as an STD.
In this womans health report, Ellice Mol started by asking Cateriona Bradshaw, Sexual Health Physician from the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre at The Alfred Hospital, what bacterial vaginosis is.

A global study of sixty-three nations has revealed that on average, woman's wages are 16 percent less than that of their male counter parts.
ACTU President Sharan Burrow said the findings of the International Trade Union Confederation study, laid out the extent to which, woman face discrimination.
Eva Cox, from the New South Wales Woman's Electoral Lobby, says if we keep ignoring the problem, the situation for woman will continue to decline.
She is speaking here with Ellice Mol.

Ellice is a Journalist currently based in Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Biological Sciences and has studied Post Graduate Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney. Having started on Radio 2ser's current affairs program Razors Edge, she began producing Panacea, 2ser's alternative health show. Since then she has worked on 2ser's daily news and current affairs program The Wire and The Fourh Estate, and now produces and presents her own radio program, a weekly magazine show, Wednesday Overdrive. She keeps very busy as an online producer for ABC Radio National Breakfast hosted by Fran Kelly and also reports for The Science Show on the ABC hosted by Robyn Williams.
