These days Iceland is home to many talented and up-coming artists. Experimental Icelandic outfit Múm are a perfect example. They are brining their beutiful and mysterious music to Australian shores this March, playing The Manning Bar in Sydney on the 19th.
Ellice caught up with Gunnar Örn Tynes, one of the original band members.

An internet based group labeling themselves Anonymous, has declared war on the Church of Scientology. The group has released details of their intentions via YouTube and this weekend organised a series of protests at Scientology offices around the world. The question is are these people persecuting a religion, or bravely standing up to a cult?

The NSW state government has announced its plan to eliminate the current system of allocating teaching staff.
The pre-existing system rewards teachers for working in the most remote and hard – to –staff schools.
NSW education Minister John Della Bosca said the new arrangement would help retain the best and brightest teachers.
The change would come into effect at the end of 2010.
Ellice Mol spoke with Gary Zadkovich, senior vice president of the NSW Teachers Federation about the government’s new plan.

Ellice is a Journalist currently based in Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Biological Sciences and has studied Post Graduate Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney. Having started on Radio 2ser's current affairs program Razors Edge, she began producing Panacea, 2ser's alternative health show. Since then she has worked on 2ser's daily news and current affairs program The Wire and The Fourh Estate, and now produces and presents her own radio program, a weekly magazine show, Wednesday Overdrive. She keeps very busy as an online producer for ABC Radio National Breakfast hosted by Fran Kelly and also reports for The Science Show on the ABC hosted by Robyn Williams.
