A new Judging system has been announced for the 2007 Australian Music Prize, recognising excellence in Australian music. This year the Community Broadcasting sector has been left out of the judging. Community radio is a strong part of the Australian music industry and broadcasters have raised concerns about the lack of independent voices on this year’s panel.

Ellice Mol began by asking The Prize Director, Scott Murphy about the re-shaping of the judging panel.

Also included in this report is Natalie Martin from AMRAP (Ausralian Music Radio Airplay Project) and Radio 2ser's Music Director Andrew Khedoori.
