When politicians throw mud at each other, does it stick? And does it make the electorate more or less likely to vote for the person or party dishing out the mud?

With the election getting a little dirty, I spoke with John Howard’s biographer Dr Peter Van Onselen from Edith Cowan University about the tactics being employed so far by the two major parties.

Included in this report is an interview with Psychologist Quentin Black from the University of South Australia.

Ellice is a Journalist currently based in Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Biological Sciences and has studied Post Graduate Journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney. She keeps very busy as an online producer for ABC Radio National Breakfast hosted by Fran Kelly and also reports for The Science Show on the ABC hosted by Robyn Williams.
