ACOSS response to the Coaltions proposed tax package

The Australian Council of Social Services says the budget surplus should be invested in tackling problems in housing affordability, indigenous disadvantage and education.

Speaking after the Coalition announced it’s 34 billion dollar package of tax cuts yesterday ACOSS Executive Director Andrew Johnson says we’ll get more bang for our buck if we invest in vital services.

Andrew Johnson spoke to Ellice Mol about why ACOSS is concerned about the proposed tax cuts.
